Thinking About Tomorrow launched its BACK TO SCHOOL Program this year, thanks to money raised at our New Year’s Masquerade Fundraiser Event! And with a newly developed partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Foster Care Unit, we are working together to provide backpacks full of school supplies for students living in shelters and foster care.

Currently, 75% of students in Los Angeles live at or below the poverty line with 13,000 homeless and 10,000 in foster homes. These students often lack access to sufficient school supplies, and budget cuts to our school systems leave classrooms unable to provide these children with the necessary items. The burden is being placed on both the students and the teachers to fulfill these needs. Thinking About Tomorrow’s BACK TO SCHOOL Program addresses this problem by providing backpacks loaded with supplies to LAUSD students, giving them everything they need for success in their education.

As we team up with the Children’s Lifesaving Foundation (CLF), please help us collect school supplies for the sheltered and foster children enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Our goal is to collect enough supplies for each student to be prepared for the entire year! We want the children to start school with all the necessary supplies to feel comfortable and ready to learn.

We are looking for donations of school supplies, monetary donations, or you may sponsor an already prepared book bag for $75. Please help us make a child successful in school. Any thing you are able to donate is wonderful, and no amount is too small. Donations are tax deductible.
