Learning is often associated with childhood, inexperience and even frivolity, but at Thinking About Tomorrow, our philosophy is that learning is not strictly a forced academic exercise. We all learn countless lessons every day, whether or not we are aware of this fact.  And while it is said that curiosity killed the cat, we believe a healthy curiosity is a wonderful trait. The more curious we are, the more we will seek to learn; in turn, the more we will appreciate life and the more we will be in awe of it.

There are infinite lessons to be learned. An individual as brilliant as Albert Einstein could have been complacent with his vast knowledge and his countless achievements in science but he acknowledged that “the difference between what the most and the least learned people know is inexpressibly trivial in relation to that which is unknown.” This is to say that there is never an end to learning. And what a wonderful, exciting idea: No matter how much we know, there is always more to learn!

Learning is part of growth, and although learning an important lesson can be painful, it is ultimately a beautiful gift. Reading and studying is one aspect of learning, but true life lessons are gained by applying and enacted what you have studied. Experience is the greatest teacher. To truly benefit, we need to learn, digest, and apply knowledge. Here are some ways in which we believe the most important principles in life are learned:
